In the specific area about attacking the castle walls, towers, and gates in close combat, not shooting.

Does the rule mean that you take the number of attacks your character gets and roll that many dice and apply it on the damage chart, or does it mean you take your attacks and add your strength and apply that to the damage chart.

I have been struggling with this rule since I read it, and I have a big siege game coming up and I want to be completly prepared and all siege rules clarified.

All answers are deeply appreciated.

The only rules I know about for walls are in the big red book and they don't sound like what you're talking about.  Wish I could help sorry.
