As some of you might have seen in the showcase section I'm working on some desert terrain pieces at the moment. So far I have found a great way of making the sand and palmtrees but I think that there's still something missing as the terrain pieces looks rather boring. I have planned on adding stuff such as snakes, bones and ancient egyptian (pyramid) stones but the thing I really need is some sort of undergrowth which match the palmtrees.

If anyone knows where I can find any guides or pictures of others "deserts" I would be very thankfull Smiley

There are kind of 2 different kinds of deserts...bit sandy ones with dunes and hard dry cracked ones...which are you thinking more about?

those last two links are more Southwest american then egyptian.  The first is probably what you're looking for Vec.
GW made a terrain pack for lustria with some nice undergrowth stuff which might be useful

Thanks for the help, I have decided to use the first picture ALEX posted (the one from denmark) and the add some palm trees, some bones, a bit of vegitation and no cactuses Grin

I'll post a couple of pictures when I get back home sunday evening.

That's a cool pyramid/temple Mumbly I might consider making one of those sometime.
